Profile of Riley Daub

Riley Daub is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina. She moved to the Washington Metro area to sublet a room her friend had available.

Upon moving to the area, Daub quickly began working as a nanny for a family with two young daughters. Not long after, Daub found employment with Shopkeepers and its affiliate restaurant – ABC Pony – both of which are owned by Erik Bruner-Yang.

During her shifts at Shopkeepers, Daub finds many ways to pass the time. She can be found curating new outfits, experimenting in the coffee bar, or filling her sketchbook.

Daub has an interest in sustainable fashion, art, and music. Before moving, she interned with a small clothing company named “Pamut” as a seamstress.

Daub plans on attending Montgomery College in Silver Spring, Md., beginning in the summer of 2020, with hopes to pursue a degree in Art History. Her dream job is to work at the National Gallery of Art as a curator.
