Rodney Reed’s case of innocence gained national attention in the months leading to his slated November 20, 2019 execution. His family, led by Reed’s brother Rodrick, have spent the past year traveling the nation lifting up this case.

Reed’s case presents a strong innocence claim – based on new-found innocence.

James Dailey is war veteran who served multiple tours of duty. Based on the “snitch” testimony of fellow inmates, Dailey was convicted of murder and given a death sentence. Now – after 30 years of maintaining his innocence – Dailey’s case has garnered national attention.

Many advocacy groups, faith leaders, and individuals have sought to exonerate Dailey from this wrongful sentence.

2019 marked Catholic Mobilizing Network (CMN)’s 10th Anniversary. In anticipation of the organization’s 10th Anniversary event – held in Washington, D.C. – CMN released a series of videos to build up to the event.
